Sarang has multiple skills in banking business and information technology. He uses them to good effect to support complex IT projects, training and building teams. A no nonsense approach, attention to details coupled with an 'on the face' sincerity make him an asset to any team and organization that he is part off!

I had the pleasure of working with Sarang Khare at HSBC for almost a year. He was our Lead and guided me throughout my journey from Programmer to Business Analyst. He is an excellent mentor, always happy to help and is very knowledgeable in the fields of business analysis and banking. He is a pragmatic leader with excellent abilities to lead multiple Business Analysts on complex projects. I was always in awe of Sarang's ability to command a room and get people on board with ideas, even people who were initially on completely different pages. I would like to commend Sarang for the way he interacts with the team and for what he does to encourage the team to success. He is never short of innovative ideas to engage people and keep the team spirit high. He is great at dealing with difficult situations and an excellent problem solver.

A passion for teaching brought him to corporate training after more than 8 years with the banking industry. Sarang was involved in designing generic and project specific training programs for development teams and analysts, then delivering them - the challenge was to understant the needs and requirement of domain training from technically audience and meet them speedily.It was a full time role. Two hugely popular program across departments and levels developed and delivered by Sarang were - 'Banking For Developers' and 'A Day At The Branch Of A Bank'. He also managed freshers and lateral induction programs , general training administration and research thus providing a holistic experience of the training function over an 18 month period from April 2005 to September 2006. Whatever work he takes up, he does it with passion, dedication. With his sheer hardwork and expertise in banking domain, he was recognised and rewarded every year. It laid the foundation for his subsequent movement to Business Analysis and Consulting in October 2006 where he continued to work , off shore and on site for the last 6.5 years with similar success. Sarang for any team is an asset and he believes in sharing his knowledge, be it Banking domain, Leadership lessons from epics or spiritualilty.

Along with his regular Business Analysis project tasks, Sarang additionally volunteered to be an instructor for Business Analysis training programs.He delivered many sessions and his trainings were quite effective. He keeps the sessions interactive and involves participants throughout the program. He helps participants understand difficult concepts with simple and right examples. This has helped many participants to improve their Business Analysis skills and be effective contributors to Business Analysis tasks on their respective projects.Here's wishing Sarang the very best in his next assignments!

Sarang's association with Hexanika as an independent practicing Consultant has been on 2 fronts - firstly (and mainly) as a Consultant Business Analyst ,analyzing US regulatory reporting requirements and secondly as a Trainer, creating and delivering domain as well as soft skill training programs for the global Hexanika team. His business analysis work and trainings both have been well received. I have worked closely with Sarang on the business analysis piece and found him to be a good team player. He has a collaborative mindset and has bonded well with the team, guiding them as required.

Sarang's association with Imarticus Learning began in April 2017. We were launching a course in business analysis and needed an experienced Business Analyst professional who had the right credentials in terms of work experience as also teaching experience and abilities. Sarang brought more than a decade of banking and IT experience from HSBC and was also CBAP certified. We felt at the time that he would likely be a good choice and so it proved. The Business Analyst Certified Professional or BACP program was well received and Sarang subsequently conducted the Change Management Program ( CMP ) with equal success. Along the way we requested him to conduct a few sessions on AML and KYC and he delivered them with ease. Sarang has proved to be a versatile asset for Imarticus in Pune and it’s been a pleasure having him on our panel. Sarang was engaged as a Business Analyst by Hexanika to analyze US regulatory reporting requirements. The challenge for him was to understand the US regulatory reporting space speedily, especially in the light of product development requirements and he proved to be equal to the task, adding value to Hexanika on multiple fronts, firstly as a consulting Business Analyst and additionally as a Trainer. He has been a good team player, bonding well with the global team. Sarang has been a definite value add to Hexanika overall.

Sarang gave a very useful training to the team at Sarvatra based on characters well known in Mahabharata. The session besides being very captivating imparted knowledge which was useful right from the next day for all. Most importantly the learnings from the session are useful over the years. I highly recommend his training based on Mahabharata.

I know Sarang as a visiting faculty at Institute of Cost Accountants of India. His approach has been very direct with the students and the students have appreciated his interaction with them. Being a hard core analyst, he always goes to the crux of the problem. Rather than move around in circles, he focuses on 'cause and effect' in any situation. His presentation on management connecting Indian mythology have been a hit.

Sarang made a lasting impact on me when I attended the banking domain training programme as part of my induction at HSBC GLT. His attention to detail, simplicity in explaining how banks work are lessons that I shall keep with me for my life. Sarang's to-the-point discussions were welcome by one and all in my batch. Sarang's session was the best of the induction programmes without any doubt! Little did I know that such a programme shall be the foundation of Sarang's mentorship to me and hence a long lasting relationship.

Sarang's involvement at HSBC was in multiple areas.Firstly, he was a 'hands on' Lead Business Analyst in the Payments work stream and built a strong team in that vertical over a 2 year period.In addition, training was a real passion with him and he delivered a popular series on management and leadership titled 'Leadership Forum' which we had initiated. He also participated in a number of initiatives including one that involved corporate communication and proved to be a versatile associate overall, both on site as well as off shore. He brought to work a straightforward approach and was sincere in whatever he did.
